MADISON, N.J. – Senior Matt Miller scored his first goal of the year but it was not enough as the Centenary University men's soccer team fell at FDU Florham on Wednesday night.

The Devils scored a goal in the first half and two in the second to record the 3-1 win over the Cyclones.

FDU Florham got the scoring started at 33:13 as Ricky La Stella found the back of the net off a pass from Justin Estremera.

The Devils added to their lead at 68:53 as Estremera scored on a low ball that got past senior Devon Warne in goal.

FDU Florham capped its scoring at 70:38 as Brandon McGregor scored on a shot from 15 yards out.

Miller got the Cyclones on the board at 89:37 as he scored on a corner kick. Sophomore Daisuke Suzuki picked up the assist on Miller's goal as he inserted the ball on the corner kick.

Tiernan Gray made eight saves to earn the win in goal for the Devils. Warne finished with seven saves for the Cyclones in 87:19. It was the fifth time this season that Warne has made six or more saves in a contest. Freshman Will Hodic saw his first action of the season in the final 2:41 and was not forced to make a save.
