Cyclones Fall at Neumann in CSAC Action

ASTON, Pa. – Sophomore Brittany Gray led the Centenary University women's lacrosse team with a pair of caused turnovers in Tuesday's game at Neumann University in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

The Knights opened up an 11-0 halftime lead and claimed a 17-0 victory over the Cyclones.

Neumann was led in the first 30 minutes of the game by Kaitlyn Conrad, who struck for three goals and five assists. Calie Swegon also contributed three first half goals.

Melanie Setting scored three of her four goals in the game in the second half while Conrad added two more goals and three more assists.

Gabby Curry made three saves in goal to earn the win for the Knights. Sara Ropski played the final 11:45 between the pipes and made one save.

Junior Renee Hack finished with four saves in the loss for the Cyclones. Hack, who has 105 saves this season, will enter Saturday's game needing just four saves to reach 400 for her career.

Conrad led Neumann in the game with 13 points after scoring five goals and dishing out eight assists. Swegon and Setting each finished with four points as Swegon's came on three goals and an assist while Setting scored four times.

Gray added two ground balls to go with her two caused turnovers while junior Kristin Karszen finished with two ground balls and three draw controls.

The Cyclones will be back in action on Saturday, April 14 when they host Immaculata at 12 p.m.
