CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. – Freshman
Britney Santiago had four digs and a block assist to lead the Centenary University volleyball team at Clarks Summit University in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action on Saturday morning.
The Defenders took the first set, 25-9 and followed that up with a 25-3 second set victory. Clarks Summit closed out the match with a 25-16 third set win.
In addition to Santiago's performance, the Cyclones got a kill and three digs from junior
Nicauris Veras and a kill, a service ace, three digs and two blocks from junior
Katie Alvarez.
Beth Muhlenkamp finished with nine kills, seven digs and six service aces for Clarks Summit while
Alexa Wagner added 12 assists, five digs and six service aces.
The Cyclones return home for their final home match on Wednesday, Oct. 24 against Keystone. Centenary will honor seniors
Giani Montalvo and
Valentina Suizzo before the first serve goes up at 7 p.m.
