Chris Snow (Roxbury, N.J. / Roxbury) totaled three points on two goals and one assist as the Centenary University men's lacrosse team dropped a Colonial States Athletic Conference contest to Marywood University, 15-7 on Saturday afternoon.
Matt Casto totaled eight points on six goals and two assists for the Pacers who improve to 7-9 overall and 4-2 in the CSAC. Senior
Michael Balsamo (Jackson, N.J. / Jackson Memorial) finished with two points on two goals for the Cyclones who fall to 6-6 overall and 3-3 in the CSAC.

Marywood stretched their lead to 5-1, before junior
Michael Muff (Havertown, Pa. / Haverford) notched his 30
th goal of the season with 11:09 remaining in the first half. The Pacers responded with another three unanswered goals to hold an 8-2 advantage with 7:02 remaining. Snow finally tallied his first point of the afternoon scoring a goal with less than five minutes to play in the opening stanza. Casto capped off a five points first half for Marywood, by netting a goal with 20 seconds remaining to propel the Pacers to a 9-3 halftime lead.
Marywood opened the second half stretching their advantage to 11-3, before goals by Balsamo, senior
Luke Tremont (Vernon, N.J. / Vernon Township) and Snow cut the Pacers lead to 11-6 with just over two minutes into the final quarter. Casto and Zach Vaughan combined for four goals in the fourth and stretched Marywood's advantage back to 15-6 with 7:23 remaining. Balsamo notched his second and the final goal of the afternoon with a score, off an assist from Snow, at the 6:16 mark. Centenary would be held to just one shot in the final 6:16 of the contest.
Freshman
Chris Howell (Bear, Del. / Delaware Military Academy) finished with five groundballs and went 10-for-25 on faceoffs. Junior
Kyle Purcell (Islip, N.Y. / Islip) totaled four groundballs and a caused turnover, while Gottshall scooped up four groundballs. Snow tallied three groundballs, while freshman
Nick Bogert (Islip Terrace, N.Y. / St. John the Baptist) finished with two groundballs and two caused turnovers. Freshman
Noah Jones (Rising Sun, Md. / Rising Sun) made five saves in 25:12 between the pipes, while sophomore
Chris Cameron (Waldwick, N.J. / Waldwick) finished with two goals and took the loss for Centenary.
