Nolan Gottshall (Toms River, N.J. / Toms River East) posted a hat-trick, including scoring the game-winner with 2:25 remaining in double overtime, as the Centenary University men's lacrosse team defeated Gwynedd-Mercy, 7-6 on Saturday afternoon.

Luke Tremont (Vernon, N.J. / Vernon Township) finished with three points on two goals and one assist for the Cyclones who improve to 4-1 overall and 1-0 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference. Jacob Snavely totaled four points on three goals and one assist for the Griffins who fall to 2-5 overall and 0-1 in the CSAC.

In the second extra session, Gottshall beat his defender and ripped a shot that blazed past Griffins netminder Chris Burns for the victory. After scoring the goal, Gottshall ripped off his helmet and sprinted towards midfield where the rest team piled on him in celebration.
