Kevin Sensale (Bartonsville, Pa. / Pocono Mountain East) recorded three runs batted in and two runs scored as the Centenary University baseball team closed out their Florida trip with a doubleheader loss to Westfield State University. The Owls improve to 8-2 overall, while the Cyclones fall 1-8 overall.

Nick Daniele (Colts Neck, N.J. / Red Bank Catholic) went 2-for-3 with a run scored, while junior
John Tierney (West Milford, N.J. / West Milford) went 2-for-4 with two runs scored as the Cyclones scattered eight hits and two runs over seven innings in the game one loss. Sensale, junior

Ryan Jasiecki (Ledgewood, N.J. / Roxbury) and freshman
Jon Fleck (Phillipsburg, N.J. / Warren Hills Regional) each tallied a hit for Centenary.
The Cyclones trailed 2-0 in the bottom of the first, when Daniele hit an RBI groundout to score Tierney, who doubled to start the inning. The Owls extended their lead to 6-1 in the fourth with four runs on three hits, including two RBI's from Tyler Beach and one from Collin Dunn.
Centenary got their second run of the afternoon from Sensale in the fifth, as he doubled down the left field line to score Tierney.
Junior
James Graziani (Martinsville, N.J. / Bridgewater – Raritan) pitched 3.1 innings and took the loss for Centenary, while senior
Ryan St. John (Washingtonville, N.Y. / Burke Catholic), senior
Alan Sciarillo (Edison, N.J. / St. Joseph) and freshman
Christian Ammiano (Hopatcong, N.J. / Hopatcong) all made relief appearances. Nate Barnes tossed a complete game with seven strikeouts in the victory for Westfield St.
GAME 2: Westfield St. 9, Centenary 3
Fleck went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored, while Maxwell went 2-for-4 with a run scored as the Cyclones recorded three runs on nine hits in the final game of the trip. Tierney, Daniele, Jasiecki, Sensale and sophomore
Chase Koffel (Perkiomenville, Pa. / Perkiomen Valley) each tallied a hit in the 9-3 loss.
WSU had everything in control with an 8-0 led after three full innings of baseball. In the fourth, Centenary got two runs back with a two RBI single from Sensale to score Fleck and Jasiecki. The Cyclones would add the final run of the afternoon in the fifth, as back-to-back singles from Maxwell and Daniele allowed Fleck to record his first RBI of the afternoon with a base hit up the middle.
Sophomore
Casey Brown (Easton, Pa. / Easton Area) and junior
Luis Santiago (Dover, N.J. / Dover) each tossed three innings with the loss being charged to Brown. Nate Marshall tossed a complete game with six strikeouts for Westfield St.
