BETHLEHEM, Pa. (Mar. 1, 2017) - Senior
Mallory George (Berkeley Heights, N.J. / Governor Livingston) moved into first place on Centenary's all-time scoring list and became the first player in school history to reach 1000 career points and 1000 career rebounds with a 16 point and eight rebound performance in the 95-50 loss to Moravian College in the first round of the ECAC Tournament on Wednesday evening.
George finished her career with 1,549 points and 1,004 rebounds as the Cyclones finish the season at 20-7 overall. Â Maddie Capuano and Camille McPherson both scored 26 points apiece for the Greyhounds who advance to Friday's ECAC Quarterfinals against Waynesburg University at Carnegie Mellon University.
McPherson also scored her 1000
th point this evening, while Capuano broke the school record for made three-pointers in a game with eight triples. The Greyhounds torched the nets from downtown by connecting on 17 triples as Moravian opened the contest on an 18-2 run and never surrendered the lead.
George needed five points and four rebounds entering tonight's contest. She scored her 1,538 career point on the opening basket of the second half off an assist from senior
Melissa Rabe (Byram, N.J. / Lenape Valley). On the very next possession, she grabbed her 1000
th rebound with an offensive board off her own miss.
Rabe added 10 points and seven rebounds, while junior
Nicole Cartaino (Midland Park, N.J. / Midland Park) chipped in eight points and three rebounds.

Rose Haller guided Centenary to the second best record in school history in just her first season at the helm of the Cyclones.
