Four Starters Score in Double Figures as Men’s Basketball Falls to Cabrini

RADNOR, Pa. (Jan. 23, 2017)- Four starters scored in double figures as the Centenary University men's basketball team dropped a Colonial States Athletic Conference contest to Cabrini University, 83-66, on Monday evening.

Tyheim Monroe finished with 14 points and 16 rebounds for the Cavaliers who improve to 13-4 overall and 9-1 in the CSAC. Junior Rashaan Spencer (Hackettstown, N.J. / Mount Olive) totaled 16 points for the Cyclones who fall to 9-8 overall and 5-5 in the CSAC.

The Cyclones trailed 8-0 early, but fought back to cut the Cavaliers advantage to 23-22 on a fastbreak layup by senior Zachary Duymich (Millstone Township, N.J. / Allentown). Cabrini closed the half on a 10-5 run, including a Deryl Bagwell triple with 13 seconds remaining that propelled the Cavaliers to a 33-27 halftime lead.
