John Tierney (West Milford, N.J. / West Milford) and freshman
Ryan Jasiecki (Ledgewood, N.J. / Roxbury) each drove in two runs apiece as the Centenary College baseball team was swept by Keystone College on Saturday. The Giants improve to 27-8 overall and 12-3 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference, while the Cyclones fall to 17-13 overall and 7-8 in the CSAC.
Game 1: Keystone 3, Centenary 2
Sophomore
Kevin Sensale (Bartonsville, Pa. / Pocono Mountain East) went 2-for-3, while Tierney drove in two runs as Keystone took game one in walk off fashion with a homerun in the bottom of the seventh by Robbie Nardelli.
Centenary trailed 2-0 entering the sixth, when Tierney singled to score senior
Nick Koffel (Perkiomenville, Pa. / Perkiomen Valley) and junior
Sal Smith (Toms River, N.J. / Toms River North).
Felix Baez struck out 15 batters and improved to 6-2, while freshman
Trey Hinkle (Macungie, Pa. / Emmaus) fanned six and fell to 6-2.
Game 2: Keystone 5, Centenary 3
Jasiecki drove in two runs, while senior
Chris Ohlweiler (Verona, N.J. / Verona) drove in another as the Giants rallied from a 3-1 deficit to take game two.
Despite scattering only four hits in the loss, Centenary actually took a 3-1 lead in the fourth on back-to-back RBI's from Jasiecki and Ohlweiler. Keystone regained the lead in the fifth with three runs on three hits, including back-to-back RBI's from Chris Triano and Nate Ross.
The Giants were able to score an insurance run in the sixth, when Julian Lanfranco scored on a wild pitch.

Scott Kushner and the Cyclones will return to action in Gwynedd Valley, Pa. on Friday, May 6 against the Griffins of Gwynedd-Mercy University at 3:00 p.m.
