Abby Voelkner (Denville, N.J. / Morris Knolls) totaled six points on six goals as the Centenary College women's lacrosse team squeezed past Notre Dame of Maryland, 16-14.

Priscilla Ortiz (Denville, N.J. / Morris Knolls) totaled five points on four goals and one assist for the Cyclones, who improve to 4-5 overall and 3-1 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference. Megan Morales totaled eight points on seven goals and one assist for the Gators who fall to 2-5 overall and 1-2 in the CSAC.
Voelkner scored four of her six goals in the first 20 minutes, as Centenary took a commanding 8-2 lead with 10:30 remaining in the first half. Notre Dame was able to climb back into the contest with four unanswered goals to cut Centenary's lead to 9-7 at halftime.

Carlie Schmitt (Stewartstown, Pa. / Kennard-Dale) and
Devin Sutko (Cinnaminson, N.J. / Cinnaminson), all scored two goals apiece in a second half that saw multiple lead changes. After Notre Dame scored three unanswered goals to take a 14-13 advantage, Centenary closed the game with three unanswered of their own.
