HACKETTSTOWN N.J. (Apr. 2, 2016) – It was a dominant performance for the Centenary College softball team as they swept a doubleheader against Cairn University, outscoring the Highlanders 32-3 in the process.
Game 1: Centenary 21, Cairn 3 The first matchup was more dominant for the Cyclones, as they scored 16 runs in the second inning and then knocked in another five in the third for a commanding 21-3 lead. Sophomore
Ashley Eisenstein led Centenary with four RBI's on two hits. Sophomore

Kylie Morgan-Polefka each contributed with three RBI's in the victory.
Game 2: Centenary 12, Cairn 0 The second game was a bit little more subdued, although the Cyclones still scored 12 runs over two innings, while not allowing any for the 12-0 victory. Junior
Becca Raymond knocked in three RBI's for the Cyclones, while sophomore
Skye Suarez-Kent and Clites each recorded two RBI's in the win.

Samantha Darling pitched three scoreless innings with five strikeouts, while junior
Katie Lauria contributed with two innings pitched and added three strikeouts of her own.

Kim Broking and the Cyclones will return to action in Clarks Summit, Pa. on Tuesday, Apr. 5 against the Defenders of Summit University in a doubleheader beginning at 3:00 p.m.
