Krupinski Posts Career-High and Surpasses 100 Career Points as Men’s Lacrosse Routs Neumann


HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Apr. 2, 2016)- Senior Trevor Krupinski (Lincoln Park, N.J. / Boonton) posted a career-high 10 points on a career-high nine goals and one assist, while surpassing 100 career points in the 22-2 rout of Neumann University.

Sophomore Michael Muff (Havertown, Pa. / Haverford) totaled a career-high nine points on a career-high seven assists and two goals for the Cyclones who improve to 6-3 overall and 2-0 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference. Ryan Lee scored two goals for the Knights who fall to 1-6 overall and 0-2 in the CSAC.

Centenary dominated from wire-to-wire, including not allowing a goal for three full quarters. Krupinski scored his 100th point in the third quarter, as the Cyclones held a comfortable 17-0 advantage.

Senior Joey DeBiasse (Long Valley, N.J. / West Morris Central) and junior Michael Balsamo (Jackson, N.J. / Jackson Memorial) both scored five goals apiece as Centenary took 58 total shots, including 40 on goal. Junior Nolan Gottshall (Toms River, N.J. / Toms River East) totaled four points on two goals and two assists, while posting a game-high 10 groundballs.  Sophomore Spencer Stachowiak (Bel Air, Md. / Bel Air) recorded a game-high six caused turnovers as Centenary forced 26 total turnovers.

Head Coach Matthew Klank and the Cyclones will return to action in Immaculata, Pa. on Thursday, Apr. 7 against the Mighty Macs of Immaculata University at 7:00 p.m.
