HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Apr. 23, 2016)- Sophomore
Carolyn Clites (Hasbrouck Heights, N.J. / Hasbrouck Heights) went 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI, as the Centenary College softball team was swept by Cabrini College. The Cavaliers improve to 21-14 overall and 17-3 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference, while the Cyclones fall to 6-21 overall and 6-12 in the CSAC.
Game 1: Cabrini 15, Centenary 2 (5 Inn.)
Cabrini had three different players hit a homerun, as the Cavaliers recorded 15 runs on 17 hits in the matinee victory.
The Cyclones were able to get two runs across the plate in the bottom of the fifth, as Clites and junior
Kylie Morgan-Polefka (Wharton, N.J. / Boonton) both posted an RBI.
Game 2: Cabrini 7, Centenary 1
The Cavaliers scored seven runs over three innings, including a homer by Cabrini's Lindsay Savar. The Cyclones finally got a run across the plate in the seventh, when junior
Alexis Wilson (Bayonne, N.J. / Marist) doubled to score sophomore
