Skye Kent-Suarez (Allentown, Pa. / William Allen) went 3-for-5 with a double as the Centenary College softball team dropped a doubleheader to Neumann University. The Knights improve to 9-11 overall and 6-0 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference, while the Cyclones fall to 5-12 overall and 5-3 in the CSAC.
Game 1: Neumann 8, Centenary 0 (5 Inn.)
Haley Broomell tossed a complete game with three hits and five strikeouts, as the Cyclones were shutout in a run-rule game. Juniors
Jamie Weingarten (Kendall Park, N.J. / South Brunswick) and
Katie Lauria (Middlesex, N.J. / Middlesex), along with Kent Suarez, were the only Cyclones' to record hits in game one.
Game 2: Neumann 7, Centenary 2
Sophomore
Carolyn Clites (Hasbrouck Heights, N.J. / Hasbrouck Heights) recorded the only run batted in of the afternoon for Centenary, as the Cyclones posted 10 hits and two runs in game two. The Cyclones actually tied the game at 1-1 with Clites hitting an RBI single to score junior
Alexis Wilson (Bayonne, N.J. / Marist) in the third.

Becca Raymond (Long Valley, N.J. / West Morris Central) both went 2-for-3, while sophomore
Gabby Kramer (Garfield, N.J. / Garfield) scored on a passed ball in the sixth.
