Gabby Kramer (Garfield, N.J. / Garfield) recorded a run batted in as the Centenary College softball team was swept by the Red Hawks of Montclair State University. MSU improves to 10-4 overall, while the Cyclones fall to 0-9 overall.
Montclair State 12, Centenary 0 (5 inn.)In game one, Brooke Powers tossed a no-hitter, while going 2-for-3 with three RBI's at the plate in mercy rule game. The Red Hawks were held scoreless until the third, when MSU produced nine runs on nine hits.
Montclair State 10, Centenary 1 (5 inn.)Â In game two, Centenary finally got on the scoreboard in another mercy rule game. The Cyclones actually tied the game at 1-1 in the third, as sophomore
Raychel Piserchia (Lyndhurst, N.J. / Queen of Peace) led off with a triple to right field. Kramer drove Piserchia home on the very next at-bat. The game didn't remained tied for long as the Red Hawks scored two runs in the bottom half of the inning. MSU built upon that lead in the fourth with seven runs on seven hits. Â

Kim Broking and the Cyclones will return to action in Camden, N.J. on Tuesday, Mar. 29 against the Scarlet Raptors of Rutgers-Camden in a doubleheader beginning at 3:00 p.m. Â
