Priscilla Ortiz (Denville, N.J. / Morris Knolls) and
Abby Voelkner (Denville, N.J. / Morris Knolls) each scored a goal as the Centenary College women's lacrosse team fell to Ramapo College, 16-2 in the 2016 season opener.
Lindsay Hughes finished with four goals, eight draw controls and seven caused turnovers for the RoadRunners who improve to 1-0 overall. Ortiz added five caused turnovers for the Cyclones who fall to 0-1 overall.
Ramapo scored 10 unanswered before Voelkner scored off an assist from senior
Devin Sutko (Cinnaminson, N.J. / Cinnaminson). Centenary scored late in the contest as Ortiz netted a goal with 2:04 remaining.
Voelkner added two groundballs and two caused turnovers, while senior
Kelly Conklin (Monroe Township, N.J. / Monroe Township) totaled two caused turnovers and a groundball.

Julie Moir and the Cyclones will return to action on Thursday, Mar. 10, hosting the Valiants of Manhattanville College in the home opener at 3:00 p.m.
