Julia Presant (Cherry Hill, NJ / Cherry Hill East) scored a career-high 12 points as the Centenary College women's basketball team fell to Cabrini College, 81-53. Mo O'Connell finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Cavaliers who improve to 15-9 overall and 12-3 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference. Junior
Mallory George (Berkeley Heights, N.J. / Governor Livingston) finished with nine points and six rebounds for the Cyclones who fall to 13-11 overall and 8-7 in the CSAC.
Cabrini opened the contest on a 15-4 run that had the Cyclones playing catch-up all night. The Cavaliers forced 26 turnovers and converted them into 29 points. The turnovers and hot shooting proved to be a perfect storm as Cabrini held a 46-22 advantage at halftime
Presant scored 11 of her 12 points in a hot shooting second half for the Cyclones. Despite Presant's play, Cabrini continued to increase their lead to 30 points in the second half.
Senior
Angela Randle (East Orange, N.J. / Marist) and junior
Heather Yaros (Hopatcong, N.J. / Hopatcong) both scored seven points apiece for the Cyclones. Meghan Martin led all scorers with 20 points for Cabrini.
