HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Oct. 5, 2016)- Junior
Richy Castro (Landing, N.J. / Roxbury) scored two goals, including the game-winner, as the Centenary University men's soccer team rallied to defeat King's College (Pa.), 2-1 on Wednesday afternoon.

Luis Marin (Union City, N.J. / Union Hill), junior
Daniel Lamanna (Roxbury, N.J. / Roxbury) and sophomore
Josh Weiss (Hackettstown, N.J. / Hackettstown) all assisted on a goal, as the Cyclones improve to 6-4 overall. Fabio Massa netted a goal and took a game-high six shots for the Monarchs who fall to 5-6 overall.
Centenary fell behind 1-0 in the 10
th minute after Massa scored off an assist from Alastair Dinnan. The Cyclones answered in the 17
th minute, as Lamanna played a cross to the far post, which Castro one-timed in and evened the contest at 1-1.
Castro would net his second goal in the 30
th minute, as a Marin pass was deflected off the keeper and onto the foot of Castro for the score. The Cyclones held a 2-1 lead at halftime.
The Cyclones defense really stepped up in the second half, as sophomore
Devon Warne (Belvidere, N.J. / Belvidere) made six of his nine saves and senior
Kevin Brix (Monroe Township, N.J. / Monroe Township) made a diving kick save in the 62
nd minute.
The Monarchs edged the Cyclones on shots (22-15), shots on goal (15-8) and corner kicks (14-5), while Centenary edged Kings on saves (10-6). Weiss took three shots, while junior
Justin White (Minehill, N.J. / Dover) and Brix tallied two shots. Jonathan Nixon and August Axtman each took three shots, while Owen Geedey made six saves in the loss.

Keith O'Connor and the Cyclones will return to action in Rosemont, Pa. on Saturday Oct. 8, against the Ravens of Rosemont College at 1:00 p.m.
