Rachel Edwards (Phillipsburg, N.J. / Phillipsburg) made four triples and tied a career-high with 24 points, as the Centenary College women's basketball team flew past Cedar Crest College, 72-35.
Senior
Ally Fugnitti (Wood-Ridge, N.J. / Wood-Ridge) finished with 13 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals for the Cyclones who improve to 10-7 overall and 5-3 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference. Rianna Kinard finished
with 16 points and three rebounds for the Falcons who remain winless at 0-17 overall and 0-9 in the CSAC.
Centenary dominated the box score this evening, as they edged Cedar Crest on points off turnovers (35-2), second chance points (10-0), bench points (19-0) points in the paint (28-4) and fastbreak points (12-0).
After a few tight minutes to open the game, the Cyclones closed the first quarter on a 14-4 run to hold a 22-15 advantage. Centenary pulled away for good in the second quarter with a 13-2 run that give them a 35-23 lead at the break.

Heather Yaros (Hopatcong, N.J. / Hopatcong) finished with 12 points and three rebounds, while fellow classmate
Melissa Rabe (Byram, N.J. / Lenape Valley) finished with eight points, seven rebounds and two steals.
