Amanda Benoit (Hazlet, N.J. / Raritan) scored off a feed from sophomore
Jessica Benoit (Hazlet, N.J. / Raritan) as the Centenary College women's soccer team dropped a non-conference road game to Ramapo College, 3-1, this afternoon.
Skyler Rybacki scored two goals for the Roadrunners who improve to 4-0, while sophomore
Kaitlin Marold (Edison, NJ / Edison) made five saves for the Cyclones who fall to 1-4.
Ramapo dominated the offense in the opening stanza, as they outshot the Cyclones, 13-0. Marold would make three out of her five saves to keep the game scoreless at halftime.
The second half saw the Roadrunners score three unanswered goals before Benoit found the back of the net in the 87
th minute.
Despite Benoit's goal, junior
Korin Karszen (Manorville, N.Y. / Eastport South Manor) took a team high two shots for the Cyclones, while Autumn Herring took a game-high five shots for Ramapo.
