Bridgewater, NJ – The Centenary baseball team dropped a pair of games to Keystone College in this evening's Colonial States Athletic Conference game. With the losses, the Cyclones fall to 12-9 overall and 4-6 in the league, while the Giants improve to 15-9 on the season and an even 3-3 in CSAC play.
Keystone 12, Centenary 0Giants' pitcher, Felix Baez, kept the Cyclones scoreless as he pitched a complete game allowing just one hit, while striking out 10 batters. Centenary's
Ryan Caparoni tallied the only hit in the game as the Cyclones were unable to get their bats going.
Keystone jumped out to an early 3-0 lead after two innings followed by another two runs in the sixth. In the final inning, the Giants scored seven runs off of five hits to amass a 12-0 advantage.
Centenary's
Mitchell Renz suffered the loss with six innings pitched, while Felix Baez remains perfect on the season (3-0) with this evening's victory.
Keystone 8, Centenary 3Centenary found themselves down 7-0 before getting two runs back in the bottom of the third. The Cyclones rattled off four hits led by Caparoni who doubled to left driving in
Nick Koffel. Teammate,
Dave Raifsnider tallied an RBI single to send Caparoni home (7-2).
In the fifth frame, Keystone would tack on one more run, before Centenary responded in the bottom of the sixth. Centenary's
Chris Kiesel flied out to left allowing Raifsnider to tag up for the score (8-3).

Kevin Litus and
Dave Raifsnider each collected a pair of hits, while four other Cyclones added one.
Cyclone pitcher,
Jimmy Kraivec suffered the loss, while Keystone's James Dunning notched his fourth win of the season giving up three runs off of seven hits.
Centenary returns to the diamond as they take on Keystone in a single game tomorrow April 12
th @ 230pm.
