Swarthmore, PA – The Centenary baseball team dropped a non-conference game this afternoon to Swarthmore College, 1-0.  With the loss, the Cyclones fall to 8-3 overall, while the Garnets improve to 12-2 overall.
Swarthmore scored the lone run in the first inning after Wesley Fishburn singled to start things off and later stole second to put himself in scoring position.  Garnet's Ryan Burnett singled to left sending home Fishburn for the 1-0 advantage.
Despite only recording three hits on the day, Centenary had prime chances to score.  In the sixth with one out and bases loaded; two consecutive plays at the plate left three Cyclones stranded. 
In the ninth, Centenary would once again leave three on the bases and failed to score any runs in support of starter, 
Justin Young who struck out six batters, while allowing only one run on seven hits.

Chris Ohlweiler each tallied a hit for the Cyclones. 
Centenary looks to get back in the win column as they face Marywood University for a double-header March 28
th at 12pm.
