HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (Oct. 3, 2015)- Senior
Jesse Goleman (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Taylor Allderdice) made a season-high 13 saves as the Centenary College men's soccer team dropped a Colonial States Athletic Conference match to the Cavaliers of Cabrini College, 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.
Bobby Kane netted the game-winner for the Cavaliers who improve to 7-1-2 overall and 2-0 CSAC. Senior
Ian Kirkpatrick (Audubon, N.J. / Audubon) took a team-high three shots for the Cyclones who fall to 5-5 overall and 1-1 in the CSAC.
The first half proved to be a defensive battle as Goleman and Cabrini netminder C.J. Serratore combined for seven saves. Serratore made saves on shots taken by sophomore

Daniel Lamanna (Roxbury, N.J. / Roxbury) and Krikpatrick.
Freshman Chris Cameron (Waldwick, N.J. / Waldwick) had the best opportunity of the half, as his shot hit the crossbar. The game remained a scoreless tie at the break.
In the second half, Cabrini increased the pressure on Goleman and the Cyclones defense. Goleman started the half by making four of his nine second half saves in the opening four minutes. Cabrini would break the scoreless tie in the 57
th minute as Kane scored off a feed from Ben Roda. Centenary had opportunities to even the game, but shots by sophomore
Matthew Anderson (Monroe Township, N.J. / Monroe Township), Kirkpatrick and sophomore
Chris Flores (Roxbury, N.J. / Roxbury) were all denied by Serratore.
Goleman would prevent the Cavaliers from increasing the lead any further as he made three saves after Kane's goal.
Cabrini outshot Centenary 14-10, including 14-6 with shots on goal. The Cyclones edged the Cavaliers in saves (13-6) and corner kicks (11-4). Junior
Luis Marin (Union City, N.J. / Union Hill) recorded all corner kicks for Centenary.
