LA PLUME, Pa. (Oct. 20
th, 2015) – On Tuesday afternoon at Keystone College (6-3 CSAC), the Centenary College women's soccer team (5-2-2 CSAC) dominated the Giants from start to finish on route to a 6-1 victory.
The goal scoring started with junior
Jessie Sharr (Belvidere, N.J. / Belvidere) netting her first collegiate goal as a Cyclone, and giving her team a early 1-0 lead only 15 minutes into the game.
The remainder of the half was dominated by freshman
Amanda Benoit (Hazlet, N.J. / Raritan), as she scored two goals. The first goal was assisted her sister sophomore
Jessica Benoit (Hazlet, N.J. / Raritan), and the second goal was assisted by Sharr giving the Cyclones a 3-0 lead heading into the half.
The Cyclones came out firing in the second half, giving Keystone no room to breathe with senior
Lorraine Dedrick (Trumbull, Conn. / Trumbull) adding to the lead only 10 minutes in. Sharr would knock in her second goal in the 76
th minute off a double assist from Benoit and senior
Becky D'Angelo (Mechanicsburg, Pa. / Cumberland Valley), while sophomore
Emily Pizzuto (Flemington, N.J. / Hunterdon Central) didn't want to be left out of the party, as she scored in the 80
th minute to give Centenary a commanding 6-0 lead.
The Giants Rebecca Lewis would spoil the team's shutout bid with a goal in the 87
th minute.

th, as they will travel to Clarks Summit, Pa., to face the Defenders of Summit University at 1 p.m.
