Aston, PA – Centenary's
Rashaan Spencer sets a new career-high scoring 25 points as he erupted in the second half netting 20 points to lead the Cyclones past Neumann University 73-68 in CSAC action. With the win, Centenary improves to 8-8 overall and 5-4 in conference play, while Neumann falls to 10-7 on the season and 7-3 in the CSAC.
Spencer went 7-for-11 from the field and 4-for-7 from beyond the arc in 13 minutes to push the Cyclones past the Knights late in the second half.
The Cyclones held the advantage for the majority of the first half until the 3:20 mark where the Knights put together an 8-2 run to take the lead (28-26) for the first time since the opening minutes. Neumann would then connect on a couple more baskets to head into the break up by six (34-28).
In the second half, the Knights would amass a 12 point advantage (45-33) with 14:26 to go. Both teams would trade baskets over the next few minutes but Centenary managed to cut the lead to single digits at the 9:17 mark (51-42).

Rashaan Spencer took over hitting four three pointers to lead the Cyclones post a 14-0 run to take a five point lead (56-51) with 6:39 to go.
Centenary would maintain the lead throughout the rest of the half as the Cyclones went 9-for-10 from the stripe as a unit in the final four minutes to seal the game.
Senior forward
Andy Charles notched a season-high 20 points and nine boards as he shot 4-for-7 from the field and 11-for-12 from the stripe.
Djovan Beausejour chipped in nine points, while
Josh Case added eight points.
Zachary Duymich dished out seven assists and brought down five rebounds.
Neumann's top scorers were James Butler who tallied 17 points and eight rebounds, while Kevin Green added 12 points and Andrew Moye who chipped in 10 for the Knights.
Centenary will return home to face Keystone College on January 28
th @ 8:00pm while hosting Coaches vs. Cancer night.
