Len Kunz completed his first year as assistant softball coach at Centenary College in 2014.
 
Kunz served as the head varsity softball coach at nearby Madison High School in 2013 after spending two seasons as the team’s pitching coach. Prior to arriving at MHS, Kunz was the pitching coach at Hackettstown High School from 2004-10.
 
A 35-year veteran starting pitcher in the local men’s competitive fast pitch softball league, Kunz also provides lessons as a private pitching instructor.
 
In addition to his coaching duties, Kunz heads Centenary’s on-campus security force as the assistant dean of campus safety and is an adjunct professor of criminal justice. He is also a member of the Hackettstown Town Council.
 
Kunz earned his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from William Paterson University and completed his master’s degree in leadership and public administration at Centenary in 2012.
