2022 (Graduate): 
  • As a Grad. Student, Ertl started all 18 games for the Cyclones
  • Helped defense post 2 shutouts in conference play.
  • Recorded 1 assist.
2021 (Senior): Started all 17 games on defense for the Cyclones ... helped the Cyclone defense post three shutouts and hold 11 opponents to two goals or less... took four shots on the year and put two on goal.

2020 (Junior): Season was canceled due to Covid-19.

2019 (Sophomore): Named to the CSAC All-Sportsmanship Team ... started all 19 games on defense ... picked up an assist against FDU Florham ... helped the Cyclone defense hold 11 opponents to three goals or less ... took five shots on the year ... member of the CSAC Fall All-Academic Team. 

2018 (Freshman): Played in 15 games and earned the start against Scranton ... recorded his first collegiate point with an assist against Scranton ... his helper against the Royals helped Centenary earn its first ever win over Scranton ... took two shots on the year and landed one on goal.

At Mount Olive H.S.: Key contributor for coach Dan Grzywacz at left back ... played soccer for all four years and was a member of the varsity squad for two years ... won the most dedicated award in 2016 ... selected as the teammate of the year in 2018.

Personal: Son of Donna and Elmer Ertl ... has one older brother, Tim and an older sister, Kaitlyn ... career goal is to become an accountant ... picked Centenary to attend because it was close to home ... favorite holiday is Halloween ... likes to eat pizza ... admits his dream vacation location is Hilton Head ... most memorable experience was breaking his leg ... working on a Masters degree in business administration.
