The 2022 season marks Pat Regan’s third on the Centenary sidelines but first as the program’s head coach.
Regan served as a volunteer coach and defensive coordinator before his promotion in the spring of 2022.
One of the highlights of Regan’s career with the Cyclones was a shutout of Cairn last year in the regular season finale.
Regan brings a wealth of lacrosse experience to the Centenary sidelines.
He spent two years as the head coach at Newton High School and was the assistant coach for the varsity squad at Mount Olive High School for seven seasons. Regan also spent time as the Mount Olive junior varsity lacrosse coach for nine years.
He also has club lacrosse experience having spent three years as the director of operations and head coach.
Regan also serves as the Centenary cross country coach and in the fall he guided Meghan Barone to a top 20 finish at the conference championship meet. Seven of Regan’s runners had lifetime personal bests as well.
Off the field, Regan and his wife, Lisa have five children (four daughters and a son). He has competed in numerous marathons, triathlons and road races. He was the National Masters Regional Champion after running in the 3,000m Steeplechase.
