Centenary University

Justin Ruiz, who had an impressive career at Stockton University, was named the graduate assistant coach for the Centenary men’s lacrosse team in the fall of 2020.

Ruiz started 57 games as goalie during his four-year career for the Ospreys. He led Stockton to the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Championship in 2019 and helped the Ospreys win the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship in 2018.

Ruiz finished his Stockton career with 584 saves and a .550 save percentage. He also holds the Stockton school record for goals against average in a season (7.91, 2017) and has an overall career 9.29 average. Ruiz finished his Stockton career ranked second in saves, fourth in goals against average and fifth in save percentage.

His accomplishments earned him All-CSAC First Team accolades in 2019 as well as  Skyline First Team and ECAC Second Team honors in 2017 as a freshman.
