Dan Gold

Daniel Gold joins Centenary University as Director of Lacrosse Operations, bringing a proven record of program building and championship success. He began his collegiate coaching career at Emerson College and Savannah College of Art and Design before making a significant impact at Newark Academy, where he grew the program from 16 to over 40 players. Under his leadership, Newark Academy produced a record-breaking scorer and multiple student-athletes who went on to earn All-Conference and Division honors.

In the last two seasons, Coach Gold guided Newark Academy to back-to-back division and conference championships, earning Coach of the Year honors in 2024. His track record of developing athletes, elevating programs, and building winning cultures has prepared him to take on the challenge of advancing Centenary’s lacrosse program.

“I am excited to help bolster Centenary’s recruiting efforts and hit the ground running in my new role,” Gold said. “I would like to thank Athletic Director Peter Vincent for this opportunity.”

A New Jersey native, Gold grew up playing high school lacrosse at Randolph High School before continuing his career at Emerson College. He now lives in Chester, NJ with his wife Amy and their son Jordan.
