2019 (Freshman): Made one appearance out of the bullpen during his first season with the Cyclones ... pitched an inning in the second game of the Lehman doubleheader ... recorded two strikeouts in that game while not allowing a hit.

At Clifton H.S.: Was a utility player for Coach Baker ... played baseball and basketball all four years in high school ... was a member of the football team during his freshman year and played socccer as a sophomore.

Personal: Son of Avon and Ennis Wheeler ... has one sister, Skylar ... admits his biggest pet peeve is being disrespected ... his life motto is "mistakes are meant to happen" ... one skill that people might not know about him is he is very flexible ... majoring in graphic design.
