2019-20 (Sophomore): Earned All-Region accolades after finishing sixth at the NCAA Mideast Regional Championship in the 197-pound bracket ... appeared in 21 bouts during his sophomore season ... picked up eight wins on the year ... had five wins in tournament action ... had three wins by decision and two by major decision ... also recorded a win by fall and one by tech fall. 

2018-19 (Freshman): Appeared in 20 bouts as a freshman ... earned 10 wins on the season ... picked up eight wins in tournament action and two during the dual meet schedule ... picked up three wins by fall ... had six wins by decision ... earned a third place finish at the Bob Quade Cyclone Open ... got three of his four wins in that tournament by decision ... picked up a win by fall against Hunter in 53 seconds. 

At Monroe Township H.S.: Wrestled for four years for coaches Joseph Eurell and Billy Jacoutot ... won the NJ District 20 Championship ... earned the Most Improved award ... was a varsity captain for wrestling ... also played three seasons on the soccer team.

Personal: Son of Andrew and Shannon Hopman ... has a younger sister, Alexa ... admits his biggest pet peeve is people who say "ohhhh" and "ahhh" during fireworks ... lists Brian Froehlich as the person he admires most ... has to listen to "Hells Bells" prematch ... favorite holiday is Christmas ... likes to eat pumpkin bread ... dream vacation location would be Rome ... majoring in sport management.
