2019-20 (Sophomore): Was named an All-Region wrestler after finishing eighth at the NCAA Mideast Regional at 141-pounds ... finished the year with 17 wins, was one of eight Cyclones to earn double digit wins on the year ... led the team in wins by decision with 10 ... earned four wins by tech fall and two by major decision ... received one win by forfeit.

2018-19 (Freshman): Appeared in 23 bouts during his rookie campaign ... picked up four wins in tournament play and three wins during dual meet action ... three of his wins came via tech falls ... also had a win by fall ... earned two wins by decision and one via forfeit.

At Passaic County Technical Institute: Four year key contributor for coach Luis Colon ... placed third in the District in his sophomore and junior seasons ...  during his senior campaign he placed second in the District and fourth in the Region ...  was a State Qualifier ... earned All-Conference honors all four years and was a Second Team All-County selection as a senior ... posted an overall record of 108-24 for his high school career.

Personal: Son of Wendy and Thomas Bruffy ... has five siblings, Richard, Zack, Jane, Holly and Lillian ... career goal is to become an All-American or National Champion at Centenary ... admits his biggest pet peeve is negative people ... lists his father as the person he admires most ... has to listen to "Thank God That I'm Not You" by the Himalayas prematch ... favorite food is chocolate chip pancakes ... dream vacation location would be Finland ... most memorable experience was getting to wrestle in Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City during his senior year in high school ... majoring in criminal justice.
