2019-20 (Junior): Named an NWCA Scholar All-American ... inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma honor society ... took home the Cyclone Award for wrestling ... earned All-Region honors and just missed out on a trip to the National Championship after finishing fourth at 184-pounds at the NCAA Mideast Regional Championship ... was an impressive 20-9 in his first season with the Cyclones ... was one of eight wrestlers to post double digit wins and one of two with 20 or more wins ... was 14-8 in tournament action and a solid 6-1 in dual meet contests ... led the team with seven wins by major decision ... also had eight wins by decision and three by fall .. finished fourth at the East Stroudsburg Open ... collected a third place finish at the Doug Parker Invitational hosted by Springfield ... finished third at the Bob Quade Cyclone Open.

At U.S. Naval Academy: Went 3-3 as a freshman at 174 pounds ... picked up two wins by decision and one by tech fall ... did not appear in any action as a sophomore. 

At Holy Cross H.S.: Wrestled for coach Adam Cooney ... competed at  152, 160 and170-pounds ... was a two-time District and Regional Champion ... placed fourth at the State Tournament ... took second at the Beast of the East Tournament ... was a two-time NHSCAA All-American ... also played four years of football ... was the team's Defensive Player of the Year ... also attended the Naval Academy Prep School.

Personal: Son of Dianne and Chris Long ... has one brother, Greg ... his cousin, Stanley Wojdylak is on the Centenary wrestling team ... his cousin Eileen runs track and field and Emory ... career goal is work in business administration ... admits his biggest pet peeve is people who pick their nails ... lists his parents as the people he admires most ... has to listen to "Angels" by ASAP Rocky prematch ... likes to eat tacos ... dream vacation location would be Napoli in Italy ... most memorable experiences are being under the gym light with his coaches, teammates, family and Cyclone Nation ... majoring in business adminstration.
