2019-20 (Sophomore): Appeared in 12 bouts as a sophomore ... earned four wins on the year, including three in tournament play ... had a win by fall ... recorded two wins by decision ... also picked up a win by forfeit.

2018-19 (Freshman): Appeared in 16 bouts as a freshman ... picked up a pair of wins by decision during tournament play. 

At Kittatinny Regional H.S.: Starter all four years for coach John Gill ... he was a three-time qualifier in the regional tournament ... also ran cross country track for two years and was a captain in his sophomore season.

Personal: Son of Perry and Michele Maio ... has a little sister, Brittany ... his life mantra is "carpe diem" ... favorite teams to cheer for are the New England Patriots and the New York Yankees ...  list his parents as the people that he admires most ... favorite line from a movie is, “You can’t handle the truth.”, from A Few Good Men ... most memorable experience is making it to the team state finals in Toms River as a member of his high school team ... majoring in business management.
