Bronxville, NY: The Cyclones come up short against the Gryphons of Sarah Lawrence as their record falls to 4-5 on the season. The final score of the contest was 65-57.

Inside the Box Score

The Cyclones would have a start similar to their previous contest, allowing an early lead to the Gryphons in the opening minutes, but narrowed the lead in a hurry and reclaimed the lead. The first twenty minutes of action would conclude with the Cyclones trailing the Gryphons 30-20. In the opening minutes of the second half, both teams would trade baskets  in the first ten minutes of play. The Clones offense would continue inching closer as they found themselves ahead with five minutes remaining in the contest. Despite outscoring the Gryphons, 37-35 in the second half, the Clones were unable to maintain the lead as they fell short of successfully completing the comeback. On the offensive end, the Clones recorded over half of the team's points in the paint, as they recorded thirty-two total points. On the glass, the Cyclones successfully came down with thirty-one rebounds, while also posting fifteen second chance points. Defensively, the Cyclones came away from the contest with a season high sixteen steals, while also posting four blocks. 

Game Standouts

Team leader in points per game, Kenneth Rankin, found success scoring as he posted sixteen points in the contest. In thirty minutes of action, the sophomore recorded two assists, three rebounds, and one block.

Darnelle Forrest had a dominant fame on the defensive end, recording a career high, six steals on the afternoon. Forrest recorded the teams' second most points with eight total.
