Baseball Split Against Neumann In Hard Fought Series

Hackettstown, NJ: The Cyclones split their final doubleheader of the season against Neumann. 

On the Mound 

Zach Gehman would start game one as he surrendered five runs as he tossed a complete game for the Cyclones.  

Starting game two for the Cyclones would be Louie Vassallo, who would go six and one third allowing four runs with two being earned on six hits. The Cyclones would turn to Adam Yarrison who would allow zero runs to cross in his two and two thirds on the bump. 

Offensive Stars 

Leading the charge with a multiple hit game would be Nick Payne, Christopher Gass and Jake Keenan. In game one of the doubleheaders, Payne, Keenan, Matt Perine, Paul Links and Brandon Smith would provide the team with run support putting the Cyclones ahead of the Knights, 7-5.
Driving in runs for the Cyclones in the hard fought second game would be Cole Heitzman, Payne and Keenan. Despite their efforts at the plate, the Cyclones would fall short of the Knights by a score of 4-3.
