Baseball Drop Conference Series To Immaculata

Hackettstown, NJ: Cyclones drop series to Immaculata University.

Series Offensive Standouts

Paul Links had his way at the plate throughout the series as he recorded multiple hits in each game. In game two, Cole Heitzman would drive in all three of the Cyclones runs as he went 3-for-3 in the game. Nick Payne and Chris Gass would also record a multi-hit game throughout the series.

On the Mound

Standouts on the mound for the Cyclones were Matt Oehrlein, Louie Vasallo, and Jake Keenan. Oehrlein Stated game one and tossed six innings for the Cyclones and allowed just four runs to cross while picking up four strikeouts. Vassallo would start game three tossing six and one-third allowing three to cross (one earned) also picking up four strikeouts. Keenan would move from third to the mound in the top of the eighth inning during game three. He would finish the game for the Cyclones allowing zero runs, one hit and striking out one batter.

Next Up

The Cyclones will travel to Cairn University for a weekday matchup before taking on Neumann University in their final Atlantic East Conference Series.
