Softball Splits Against NJCU

Hackettstown, NJ: The Cyclones split weekday double header against NJCU. They won game one by a score of 3-1, and lost game two by a score of 12-10

Camp Leader

Once again having a great outing would be Junior pitcher, Julia Campen. Campen allowed zero runs and picked up four strikeouts in game one for the Cyclones. She has also surpassed her previous season high in strikeouts, as she now sits at sixty-seven. With twelve games left in the season, Campen can etch her name into the record books by breaking into the top five for the single-season strikeout list.

Swingin' Clones

In game one, the Cyclones had three hits with two coming from Madison Passanante and one coming from Kaitlyn Knauer.

In game two of the double header, the Cyclones would record nine hits. Jayden Pennella would steal the show offensively, as she provided the team with one single, one double and five runs batted in. Also recording multiple hits in game two would be Ashley Romano, and leadoff hitter Chloe Wright.

Next Up

The Cyclones will travel to Aston, PA to take on Neumann University in an Atlantic East Conference Matchup.
