ASTON, P.A.- Centenary Men's Basketball battled AE Conference foe Neumann University on Saturday afternoon, falling in a tight game, 80-73. With the loss, the Cyclones fall to 6-11 overall and 1-3 in conference play. The Knights improve to 14-4 overall and 3-0 in AE play.
Gery Good Play
Junior
Colin Gery had a season high in points, scoring 17 on 6-of-11 from the field and 4-of-6 from beyond the arc. Gery also had a season high in minutes played, recording 27 on the day.
Veras Ball
Graduate Student
Billy Veras was hot from everywhere on Saturday afternoon, scoring 25-points and knocking down 10 field goals on 17 attempts, with two coming from three point land. Veras also added seven rebounds, four assists and four blocks.

Neumann outscored the Clones 33-30 in the first half and 47-43 in the second. Centenary recorded seven steals and forced 13 Knight turnovers. The Clones also shot 41% from the field and 36% from beyond the arc. The score was tied 14 times and there were 12 lead changes in the contest, the last coming with less than seven-minutes remaining in the game.
