Women's Lacrosse Concludes 2022 Campaign at Notre Dame (Md.)

BALTIMORE, Md. – Lily Butcher scored a pair of goals to lead the Centenary University women's lacrosse team as it traveled to Baltimore to face Notre Dame of Maryland in its final game of the 2022 season.

The Gators jumped out to a 11-0 lead after 15 minutes of action and eventually claimed a 22-2 victory.

Christine Manser recorded the assist on both of Butcher's tallies on the day. Sara Brotons had two caused turnovers, which gave her 25 on the season. She moved into a tie for seventh on the single-season caused turnovers list at Centenary (Alysia Pinkerton-2012). Chloe Neubauer had eight saves in goal while Ellie Roberts led the team with three ground balls.

The Gators got 10 points each from Sara Morales (8G/2A) and Brooke Siebert (7G/3A) against the Cyclones. Collette Hayes-Williams did not make a save in the win.

The game marked the final contest in the careers of Amanda Tietjen, Kristin Bell, Alissa Brown and Manser.
