Meghan Hughes as well as freshman
Jenna Glinko each had three hits in game one to lead the Centenary University softball team to a split of its two contests on Sunday at the Fast Pitch Spring Dreams Classic in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Centenary opened the day with a 10-3 win over Penn State Harrisburg before falling to Eureka College by a 6-0 margin in the second contest.

The Cyclones got on the board in the top of the first as Hughes doubled home Ferentinos with the game's first run.
It remained a 1-0 game until the top of the fifth. Ferentinos plated senior
Juli Wright to give the Cyclones a 2-0 advantage.
PSU Harrisburg took advantage of a Cyclone error in the outfield in the bottom of the fifth and tied the game at 2-2.
Centenary responded by scoring six runs in the top of the sixth and took an 8-2 lead in the game. Glinko had a two-run double in the frame while junior
Courtney Deloughery singled home two.
PSU Harrisburg scored one in the bottom of the sixth and made it an 8-3 game.
The Cyclones were not done yet as Wright had an RBI single in the seventh and later crossed the plate on senior
Justine Stefura's RBI triple.
Senior
Jessica Hewitt picked up the win in the circle after giving up one unearned run in four innings of work.
Mary-Kate Penczkowski took the loss after giving up 10 runs on 14 hits.
Ferentinos had three hits, two runs scored and two RBIs for the Cyclones while Glinko recorded three hits with two RBIs. Hughes contributed three hits, one run scored and one RBI.
Eureka 6, Centenary 0 recap
Eureka jumped out to an early lead with four runs in the top of the first. The big blow in the inning came off the bat of
Adrianna Zeman who had a two-run single.
Eureka extended its lead to 5-0 on a sac fly from
Sydney Shubert in the fourth inning.
Centenary had a chance in the bottom of the fourth as Hughes led off with a single. She advanced to third base before being stranded there.
Eureka added one more run in the seventh to secure the 6-0 victory.
Torre Koontz earned the win in the circle after limiting the Cyclones to seven hits in the complete game appearance. Sophomore
Sandra Cosenzo took the loss after giving up four unearned runs in the first inning.
Deloughery and Glinko led the Cyclones with two hits each.
Zeman had three hits and two RBIs for Eureka.
The Cyclones will be back in action on Tuesday, March 10 when they take on Medialle and Greenville in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
