HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – Senior Chloe Christopher scored in the 29th minute to lead the Centenary University women's soccer team against Albright University in the season opener for both squads.

Albright scored twice in the second half to claim the 3-1 victory over the Cyclones in the Cyclone Kickoff Classic on Friday afternoon.

The Lions got on the board at Disa Hasanji scored off a pass from Autumn Bieber at 26:21.

The Cyclones got the equalizer at 28:03 as Christopher made a nice run and beat her defender and the keeper.

The two teams went into the half tied at 1-1 as freshman Chelsea Estacio made nine saves in the first 45 minutes for the Cyclones.

Jillian Lapidus and Bieber scored in the second half to lift Albright to a 3-1 victory.

Olivia Donkus made two saves to earn the win in goal for Albright. In addition to Estacio's nine saves, the Cyclones got five saves from sophomore Rachel Colt in the second half.

The Cyclones are back in action on Saturday, Aug. 31 when they take on Drew at 3 p.m. to wrap up the Cyclone Kickoff Classic.
