Rachel Edwards (Phillipsburg, N.J. / Phillipsburg) tied a career-high with 24 points as the Centenary University women's basketball team extended their winning streak to five games with a 67-41 victory over Cedar Crest College on Wednesday evening.

Melissa Rabe (Byram, N.J. / Lenape Valley) finished with 13 points and 12 rebounds for the Cyclones who improve to 16-4 overall and 9-2 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference. Geminii Cabrera totaled 13 points and four rebounds for the Falcons who fall to 3-15 overall and 1-10 in the CSAC.
After struggling in the first quarter, Centenary buckled down on the defense end holding Cedar Crest to under 30.0% shooting and single digit points in both the second and third quarters. The Cyclones used a 20-9 run in the third quarter to extend their lead to 20 points at 51-31. Edwards totaled 17 of the Cyclones 36 points in the second half as Centenary ballooned their lead to as large as 30 in the fourth.

Mallory George (Berkeley Heights, N.J. / Governor Livingston) totaled 16 points and eight rebounds, while fellow classmate
Kelsey Barofski (White Township, N.J. / Belvidere) chipped in with eight points. Taylor Osley finished with 12 points for Cedar Crest in the loss.
