The last time these two teams met, Centenary suffered a tough 2-1 loss October 28
th, 2014 on the road. Centenary found themselves down one after a late first half goal and throughout the majority of the second half.
It wasn't until the 84
th minute, that
Kevin Brix sent the equalizer into the back of the net to knot the game at one apiece. However, 11 seconds later, Neumann would regain the lead as Christian Cortese headed a goal off a corner kick.
Since the loss, Centenary bounced back to defeat Rosemont College (2-1) to close out their regular season and Gwynedd Mercy (3-2 OT) in last night's quarterfinals match.
