Hackettstown, NJ – Centenary College women's soccer team fell to CSAC opponent Neumann College as they were shutout 2-0 and handed their first loss in league play. Centenary drops to 4-6-1 overall and 3-1 in the CSAC, while Neumann improves to 3-6 and 3-2.
The Knights took an early lead as Tonia Russo netted her second goal of the season for a 1-0 lead in the 18
th minute.
The score would remain 1-0 for the rest of the first half and the majority of the second. Shots favored Neumann as they recorded 10 shots and four on goal, while Centenary only totaled four with one on goal.
Neumann's Alexa DeRose would put the game out of reach in the 88
th minute as she managed to hit the back of the net off a direct kick for the 2-0 lead.

Megan Williams made two saves in 90 minutes of play, while Knight's keeper Briana King stopped one.

th for a night game beginning at 6:30pm.
