LaBelle was named the Centenary Male Athlete of the Year after a strong final season.Â
He earned Second Team All-ECAC and Second Team All-Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association accolades for the second time in his career.Â
LaBelle, earned First Team All-Atlantic East accolades and Second Team All-D3Hoops.com in District 5 earlier this year.
LaBelle, who averaged 20.8 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game, earned first team all-conference accolades for the third straight season (twice in the CSAC and once in the Atlantic East).
LaBelle finished the season ranked among the top ten in the Atlantic East for scoring (20.8 ppg), field goal percentage (.422), free throw percentage (.750), assists per game (5.8), assist to turnover ratio (1.6), steals per game (1.8) and minutes per game (37.7). His 39 points scored against Montclair State are the most by an Atlantic East player this season.
He ranked among the top four in the nation in free throws made (159) and free throw attempts (212).
LaBelle started 23 games for the Cyclones this season and scored in double figures in 22 of those contests. He scored 20 or more points in 12 games and two of those contests saw him score 38 or more points. LaBelle grabbed at least two rebounds in 22 game and had 15 games with five or more rebounds.
He had four double-double performances (three for points and rebounds and one for points and assists).
LaBelle had at least five assists in 16 games and his season-high 11 assists at Marywood are tied for second in single-game history at Centenary. He added 42 steals and six blocks on the year.
