Veras averaged 15.5 points, 3.0 blocks and 4.0 rebounds per game while leading the Cyclones to a split of their two games last week. The sophomore contributed seven points, two rebounds, two assists and two blocks in the loss at Rosemont. Veras had 24 points, six rebounds and four blocks in the win over Wilson. He shot 54.5 percent from the field and made all five of his attempts from the free throw line.
