Hobbs' first career hat trick came at the perfect time to lead the Cyclones to their first win of the season and a win in their CSAC opener. She scored once in the first half and then the first two goals of the second half to complete the hat trick. She tallied her three goals on four shots in the game.

Her goals helped the Cyclones stretch their CSAC regular season win streak to 16 games (dating back to 2017 season).
