Beyer Jr. carded a 78 to lead the Cyclones to a win in their season opener against Wilson. The sophomore posted the best round by a Cyclone since Steve Kluemper shot a 78 during the fall of the 2014 season. Beyer Jr.'s 78 helped the Cyclones give head coach Jim Rocco a win in his first match leading the Cyclones.
